TUESDAY MID-EVENING
The evening schedule was jam-packed—running down to Sandy, to participate in an interview with the Salt Lake Board of Realtors—then zipping to the monthly Green Drinks event at Sugar House’s Au Naturel restaurant.
Green Drinks, was, AGAIN, packed! Last month’s event at Wasatch Community Gardens West side locale drew more than 100 people! Exciting to experience such green traction! (SAME with TreeUtah-sponsored water harvesting and Permaculture events last month—60 people attended the water harvesting event with Brad Lancaster, and Toby Hemenway filled an expanded room to discuss growing edible forests on one’s own property.) Met with so many entrepreneurs, eco-veterans, young, recently graduated MBA’s with “sustainability” as their emphasis… Now WHAT was that Obama stimulus package for single moms! I would LOVE that… But… BACK TO SLC City Council! Let all I met know about AUGUST 16—“Green Day” here in SLC! TONIGHT?
